So you’ve had an accident. Your vehicle is damaged. Now, you are counting on insurance to help pay for the repairs and you might be wondering . . .
Yes. Your insurance company cannot require you to have your vehicle repaired at a specific repair shop. Your policy will cover the reasonable cost of repairing your vehicle to its pre-accident condition no matter where you have repairs made.
Country Body Shop, Inc. works with all insurance companies, and we offer a lifetime guarantee on all repairs.
Your insurance company may require more than one estimate before settling your claim. Getting multiple estimates helps insurance companies determine the extent of your loss and helps to prevent fraudulent claims. However, your insurance company cannot require unreasonable travel for you to obtain an estimate or for the company to inspect your vehicle.
If you have an initial insurance estimate, Country Body Shop, Inc. will begin repair on your vehicle and, if necessary, we will work directly with the insurance company on your behalf for any supplemental repair costs due to hidden damage.
The insurance company is required to return your vehicle to the condition it was in before it was damaged. Either the company can pay all costs to satisfactorily repair your vehicle, including all obvious and hidden damage, or they may offer a cash settlement to pay for satisfactory repair to your vehicle.
The high quality vehicle repairs done by Country Body Shop, Inc. are completed by state certified technicians using only the highest quality parts and paint products.
When our loaner cars are available, Country Body Shop, Inc. does offer free loaner vehicles to be used when your vehicle is being repaired. We do require a $50 deposit on our loaner cars.
If your vehicle insurance policy covers rental cars, you can file a claim with your own insurance company for reimbursement. Country Body Shop, Inc. does contract with a local rental car dealer, Craig’s Car Rental, for great rates on rental cars. Call Craig’s Car Rental at 616-396-5635.
